What kind of Palestinian state?
It’s not just the U.S. State Department that favors the creation of a Palestinian state west of the Jordan River. The UN secretary-general, the foreign ministers of the EU and Germany, and 49 Democratic senators have all recently called for a “two-state solution.” Whatever problem they think it would solve, it won’t solve the problem that has caused the deaths of thousands of Israelis and Palestinians in the past three decades.
