At a pro-Palestinian event in London, the British politician Gerald Kaufman delivered a speech denying that Palestinians have been stabbing Israelis—claiming that “a friend” told him that reports of the stabbings are fabricated. He went on to explain that “Jewish money” had purchased the Conservative party’s support of Israel. David Collier comments:
