A New Movie about the Israel-Palestinian Conflict Distorts History

The lies of Palestine 36.

Produced with funding from the British, Turkish, and Qatari governments, Palestine 36 is set during the anti-Jewish uprising that began in the year and place of the title. At the end of the film, a notice appears in small letters clarifying that it is a work of fiction, “inspired by actual events.” Even that characterization might be overly charitable.
