A Temple Mount Mikveh, Destroyed by the Romans

A story in the ashes.

Today is the fast of the Tenth of Tevet, commemorating, primarily, the beginning of the siege of Jerusalem by the Babylonians in 587 BCE, which culminated in the destruction of the First Temple. While archaeological remnants of those events are relatively scant, signs of the destruction of Second Temple are more abundant. Lidor Sultan reports:
