At Last, a College Decides to Protect Jews by Closing the “Zionist Loophole”

Haverford’s settlement should be a model for others.

Following Hamas’s invasion of Israel, Haverford College stood out even among other universities for the severity of the hostility toward Jews that erupted on its campus—to the extent that its most prominently Jewish professor would no longer let his children play in the front yard due to the death threats he received. Following a lawsuit, Haverford’s administrators recently reached an agreement to take new measures to protect Jewish students. Michael A.
