Calvin Coolidge’s Response to Anti-Semitism

The Hebraic mortar of American democracy.

One piece of evidence that America is anything but ugly can be found in a forgotten 1925 speech by Calvin Coolidge. Addressing a largely Jewish audience, Coolidge discussed the fact that the colonies, having thrown off the British yoke, decided to come together and unite as one.
