In an interview with the New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, President Obama sought to reassure skeptics that the agreement reached with Iran is a good one. Yet despite his declaration that “if anybody messes with Israel, America will be there,” his remarks about Israeli security, writes Elliott Abrams, are anything but reassuring:
