The terrorist group is desperate to restore its rule.
With a cease-fire in place, Hamas’s priority is not reconstruction of Gaza’s ruined cities, but the settling of scores. The group’s Interior Ministry has issued a formal October 19 deadline by which armed gangs not involved in direct clashes with Hamas must reconcile with its rule. The terrorists have publicized photographs and videos of their forces murdering and torturing; the victims include women and children. Ahmad Sharawi reports:
