How Israel Should Respond to the EU’s New Labeling Laws

Are you buying Scotch produced in an English settlement?

The EU has issued an “interpretive notice” recommending that goods produced by Jewish-owned businesses in the West Bank, the Golan Heights, and “east Jerusalem” be labeled as coming from “Israeli settlements.” So far, only the UK, Denmark, and Belgium have adopted the regulation.
