The INS Drakon comes to Haifa.
In partnership with German shipyards, Israel is modernizing and expanding its submarine fleet. Arriving in Haifa this week is the INS Drakon, a Dolphin 2-class submarine, over 240 feet long and weighing 2,600 tons—the largest submarine yet in the IDF’s service. Emmanuel Fabian reports:
