On Friday, an Israeli airstrike killed Izz al-Din al-Haddad, the seniormost Hamas figure within the Gaza Strip. Additional strikes also eliminated other Hamas figures over the weekend, including at least one other high-ranking commander. Avi Issacharoff, however, is not impressed:
