Yesterday, a federal judge denied Harvard University’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought against it by six Jewish students, who allege that the institution failed to address the anti-Semitism on campus. The presiding judge wrote in his opinion that “the facts as pled show that Harvard failed its Jewish students”—in other words, these students have a credible case about the university’s misbehavior. One of the plaintiffs, Shabbos Kestenbaum, speaks about his experience at the school, the Harvard Divinity School’s fixation on the Israel-Palestinian conflict, and his own story with Columbia University’s Shai Davidai.
