Only Israel Can Defend Itself against the Houthis—and against Iran

A Zionist lesson that’s too easily forgotten.

Yesterday, roughly twenty Israeli fighter jets flew over Yemen and struck the Hodeidah port—key to the Houthis’ ability to import arms and supplies, as well a source of petroleum-related revenue—along with a cement factory and other Houthi infrastructure. The attack was a response to the missile that hit Ben-Gurion airport on Sunday. Since January, the IDF had refrained from military operations against the Houthis, as their missiles had either failed to reach Israel or been intercepted by its air-defense systems.
