The Anti-Semitic Prejudices at the Heart of Karl Marx’s Thought

The bloodsucking Jewish-capitalist conspiracy.

Tracing Marx’s anti-capitalism to its roots in the hostility toward commerce of classical antiquity, Jonah Goldberg argues that Marx likewise inherited the ideas of Christian thinkers who combined this hostility with hatred of Jews in particular. These older attitudes deeply informed Marx’s critique of capitalism.
