With the prospective lifting of sanctions, Iran will have more cash available to send to its client, Bashar al-Assad, enabling him to raise more troops and buy more arms. This, writes Jonathan Schanzer, will in return relieve some of the pressure on Hizballah, which is now deeply enmeshed in the Syrian civil war, and free it up to attack Israel. Nor is that all:
