While the Obama administration has touted Tehran’s release of American hostages, along with the recently captured Navy boats and their crews, as a triumph of diplomacy, Aaron David Miller sees in these events more evidence for concern about the future of relations between the U.S. and the Islamic Republic. What’s more, Miller argues, the U.S. has made the mistake of further rewarding bad behavior:
