One had to return to port due to technical problems; the other was peaceably diverted by the Israeli navy. Having perused the social-media accounts of passengers aboard the “Women’s Boat to Gaza,” Liel Leibovitz concludes that this was something other than a mission of well-intentioned do-gooders:
