The Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty Turns Twenty

The 1994 peace treaty between Israel and Jordan created Israel's most successful and durable regional alliance, writes David Schenker, and has also contributed to strengthening diplomatic and military ties between Jordan and the U.S. Yet the treaty remains widely unpopular in Jordan itself.
