An impediment to reconciliation with Israel?
Earlier this week, Turkey’s foreign minister announced that his country is on the verge of restoring diplomatic relations with Israel. It remains unclear, however, whether Ankara will continue to provide a base of operations within its territory for senior Hamas officials, and if so, whether Jerusalem will scuttle rapprochement.
