Can an Anti-Zohran Mamdani Coalition Succeed?

Campaign-finance laws and political egos make it difficult.

If the socialist, anti-Israel radical Zohran Mamdani were running for the New York City mayoralty against a single, somewhat appealing, opponent, he would probably have a low chance of victory. But since, as the Democratic nominee, he is running against two Democrats-turned-independents—the incumbent Eric Adams and the former governor Andrew Cuomo—along with the Republican Curtis Sliwa, the odds are very much in his favor.
