On Saturday, a small group of right-wing provocateurs organized an ugly demonstration outside the New York City mayor’s residence. Rather than protest Zohran Mamdani’s obsessive hatred of Israel or disastrous policy proposals, they instead focused on his religion. Two Islamic State-inspired Muslims then stole their thunder by throwing two homemade bombs, which fortunately failed to cause any injuries.
