On January 8, a Palestinian drove a large truck at full speed into a group of IDF cadets participating in a tour of Jerusalem; four soldiers lost their lives. A now widely circulated video of the attack shows many of the cadets—who were armed—running for cover while the civilian tour guide, as well as some of the cadets, opened fire and prevented the attack from becoming far deadlier.
