Greta Thunberg and Sweden’s Loss of Purpose

Just as the news began to surface that a hostage deal might be imminent, the big story about the Israel-Hamas war (at least in the eyes of much of the media) was the flotilla of ships headed across the Mediterranean with the ostensible goal of breaking the maritime blockade on the Strip. The emergence of an actual path to end Gazans’ suffering highlighted the farcical nature of this odyssey.
