On Tuesday, guerrillas in northern Gaza opened fire on Israeli soldiers, seriously injuring one. Since then, the IDF has carried out a number of airstrikes on the Hamas side of the yellow line, killing a senior Palestinian Islamic Jihad officer, the murderer of the captured Israeli soldier Noa Marciano, and other terrorists.
