Despite what a recent, bizarre article in the New York Times claims, Hamas routinely and systematically seizes humanitarian aid that enters the Gaza Strip, and did so even before the war. It has also found ways to steal the food supplied by the Israel- and U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. But most of all it takes advantage of the supplies provided by the UN and affiliated organizations, which are often complicit. Andrew Tobin explains:
