Robert Kraft and the Pro-Israel Businessman’s Dilemma

Last week’s controversy involved a rapper named Benjamin Haggerty, who uses the stage name Macklemore and whose performances often involve rhetoric and displays meant to gin up hatred for Israel. Several years ago, he engaged in a grotesque bit of anti-Semitic costumery. The Jewish businessman Robert Kraft recently prevented Haggerty from performing at a stadium owned by one of his companies, prompting much shrieking as the mob now directs its attention at the English musician Ed Sheeran, for whom Haggerty had been slated to serve as an opening act.
