Sometimes the Whole World Is Wrong and the Jews Are Right

On Friday, the Nobel committee announced that it was awarding the annual Peace Prize to Navi Pillay, a South African lawyer and jurist with a long career as an international human-rights monger of the worst kind. Pillay has been lobbing false accusations at Israel in a professional capacity since at least 2014, when she was completing a six-year term as UN Commissioner for Human Rights, a position that mostly entails directing attention away from the crimes of powerful or influential tyrannies like China. Given the timing of the prize, it’s likely that she was chosen especially for her service as chair of the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, which under her watch determined that the Jewish state had committed genocide.
