Terror in the Capital, and Terror against the Jews

The possibilities of a new wave of Islamist attacks.

Last Wednesday, an Afghan national who had been granted asylum in the U.S. shot two national guardsmen in Washington, DC. One died from her wounds, while the other is in critical condition. The perpetrator had served alongside American forces in Afghanistan. This reemergence of Islamist terror, originating from the same country as the September 11 attacks, is a disturbing development for Americans—and is perhaps even more worrisome for U.S. Jews, who have reason to fear attacks on Jewish targets.
