The Australian Government Can’t Quite Bring Itself to Look into Anti-Semitism

On Monday, the Israeli president Isaac Herzog arrived in Australia at the invitation of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese; his purpose was less diplomacy than to visit the local Jewish community, still mourning the massacre at Bondi Beach. His presence was met with fierce protests during his four-day stay, which sometimes turned violent.
