The Leader of Columbia’s Protest Movement Tries Lawfare

Mahmoud Khalil’s cynical and incoherent appeal to American freedoms.

This week, Mahmoud Khalil, the Algerian citizen who led the anti-Israel demonstrations at Columbia University, and who now faces deportation, filed suit against the school and one of its administrators. The complaint, which runs 60 pages, claims that the defendants displayed “deliberate indifference” to the “severe, persistent, and coordinated harassment” he and other students supposedly faced.
