On Sunday, Eliezer “Geizi” Tsafrir, who was the last Mossad station chief in Tehran, died at the age of ninety-two. (Presumably, the Mossad still has operatives in Tehran, but in a far more clandestine capacity.) Florit Shoihet recounts his career, and his more recent comments on the situation in Iran:
