Strong as the argument in favor of confronting Iran might be, there are those committed to claiming otherwise despite knowing better. Among them is Joe Kent, who recently resigned as director of the National Counterterrorism Center in a blaze of anti-Semitism. Kent is now being feted by an outfit called Catholics for Catholics—at an event hosted by the anti-Semite and moon-landing denier Candace Owens where tickets can be had for a mere $1,200. Examining the group’s website, Mary Eberstadt finds it not very Catholic at all:
