On Friday, the Board of Peace—the American-led international organization tasked with supervising the administration of postwar Gaza—released a “road map” for disarming Hamas and preparing the way for IDF withdrawal and the creation of a new governing entity in the Strip. Ron Ben-Yishai describes the document as “a vague declaration of intent rather than a binding agreement,” and finds controversy over the details irrelevant:
