Yes, Voucher Programs Are Making Religious Schools More Affordable

They don’t just give schools an excuse to raise tuition.

Aided by favorable Supreme Court decisions, recent years have seen an expansion of programs that provide vouchers and similar benefits to defray the costs of private schools, including religious ones. Teach Coalition, a Jewish organization that advocates such policies, has recently commissioned a study asking a critical question: do public funds simply raise the cost of tuition?
