Why Hizballah Didn’t Join in the Twelve-Day War

It’s busy preparing for the next one.

One of the many remaining questions regarding the recent conflict with Iran concerns Hizballah’s decision to sit it out. The Iranian proxy is still thought to have a sizeable, if much diminished, stockpile of rockets, and a number of fighters. Yet it did not even participate symbolically. Tal Beeri examines its reasons, and asserts that it would be wrong to conclude that Hizballah is deterred, at least not in anything but a temporary way:
