Why Indonesia Wants to Get Involved in Gaza

Exporting moderate Islam.

Among the countries that might play a role in maintaining the peace in Gaza is Indonesia, which sent a delegation to the Sharm el-Sheikh summit where the present cease-fire was ratified. Jakarta’s involvement in U.S.-led diplomatic efforts coincided with reports that it might be considering establishing normal relations with Israel.
