Zohran Mamdani Isn’t an Islamist, but a Third-Worldist

Early voting has begun in New York City, even as, in recent days, more damning evidence of the mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani’s attitudes toward Israel and toward jihadism have surfaced. In one recently publicized video, from 2023, he declares that “We have to make clear that when the boot of the NYPD is on your neck, it’s been laced by the IDF.” And last week, he posted a picture of himself alongside a Brooklyn imam connected to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, whom federal prosecutors put on a list of individuals who “may be alleged as co-conspirators” in a terror plot.
