What a Ring of University Anti-Israel Activists Were Planning

On Wednesday, the Justice Department announced the indictment of eight people associated with the University of Michigan for destruction of property, intimidation, and conspiracy to commit violence in their anti-Israel activities. Now-public transcripts of their conversations include one speculating that their activities might run afoul of racketeering laws, and another (then a medical student!) saying that she hopes to become the physician of the university’s president so that she can slowly poison her. She and her interlocutor also expressed their desire to harm the children of one of their targets.
