Learning the Lessons of the Mumbai Terrorist Attacks

November 26 marked the seventeenth anniversary of the Mumbai terrorist attacks, which involved simultaneous, carefully planned acts of murder that left 166 dead and over 300 injured. Among the twelve locations targeted by the Lashkar-e-Taiba jihadist group was the city’s Chabad House, where two terrorists took several people hostage, and eventually murdered six of them—included Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife Rivka, then six months pregnant.
